Greetings From Baghdad

"Greetings From Baghdad" was a chat meme popularized during the "Age of Hype" and used primarily to aggravate a group of rushers that went by the name "The Resistance". It was designed to simultaneously mock naked spawn bombers and the Muslim extremist groups' tendency to suicide-bomb soft targets.

It also references a mid-distance operations base along the -z Highway that was constructed during the 4th incursion over top of a double grinder. The meme was primarily invoked after someone had been Crystal'd. This method of pvp became popular along with bed bombing for its ability to one hit a fully geared non-blast protection player before they had time to gapple up. It was very effective around spawn due to the amount of obsidian used in constructing major walkways.

Obsidian was primarily used for overworld transit due to its extremely high blast resistance. Category:Memes (very literally)Category:Meme
